Only dedi servers run 24 hours when your not playing so if YOUR game is standered multiplayer then your friends are not connecting to your game as your not in the game which you need to be for them to be able to play. Half of the command does not work specifically on the snow plow on the tractor, when the "v" button is pressed, it does not react at all. It reacts with the mouse. The Giants are not fixing the problems. I don't think this was the case with previous versions FS. Yeah, I hate those little gotchas like not allowing LAN play unless you get special server deamon. It's not unheard of for game to have direct IP option or local LAN browse play. My ISP is fine, I have no issue with other games that are far more demanding on bandwidth and response time then a game of two tractors plowing a field! I would bet that it is a firewall being the issue, either on both computers or the router to outgoing traffic, as the game doesnt recognize lan per say, so the traffic needs to go from computer 1 -> steam master server -> compter 2.
